Dear Author,

Thank you for writing for me! (And if you're just looking at my letter, thank you as well.) For this exchange, I am requesting fic only. I'm really excited to see what you're going to create. I hope you find this letter helpful, although I realise that of course, optional details are optional (as they should be). Some pairings have more detail than others, this does not reflect on if I want to receive them more or less, just that I have more ideas for some.

My AO3 name is [archiveofourown.org profile] twoam

Fandom: Blackadder
Pairing: Edmund Blackadder/Kevin Darling.
Blackadder Goes Fourth is my favourite Blackadder series. It's a mixture of the setting, the excellent writing (so do Series Two and Three), and the characters. It is also very, very funny. I also enjoy how Blackadder having such an effective foil in Darling, someone who can equal him in smarts, and how it naturally means they absolutely hate each other. They've got a lot more in common than either of them would ever admit, and it drives them nuts. Yet they do bury the hatchet, for a while, in the final episode. Though I imagine that if they survive they'd be back at each other's throats soon enough, so I'd like them to still be argumentative even if they are shagging.

Prompts:
*What happened after they went over the top. Maybe they figured out a plan to get out of it together once they were up in No Man's Land, perhaps Blackadder has one of those moments of very good luck he gets occasionally. Maybe the Germans capture them, much to their relief.
*One of them survives going over the top but the other doesn't and decides to haunt the survivor as a ghost as his revenge, particularly if it was his fault that the bullet hit him because he was busy being such a distracting arse. I'm thinking very dark humour, but a more serious note in with it would be interesting too if you'd like to do a mixture, or take it more straight.
*Any sort of mission fic. It could be an actual good idea that inevitably goes wrong, or it was an absolutely terrible idea that never would have been approved by anyone halfway competent but they have Melchett as their leader.
*Anything that could be summed up as 'Blackadder probably would have got away with it if he hadn't been so smug and then immediately put his foot in it'.
*How did they meet for the first time? Was it when Darling got promoted into the position he's in during the series, or before then? Did they almost, for a moment, get along before it inevitably went to pot?
*Friends with benefits. Or enemies with benefits, more accurately for these two. It's slim pickings in the middle of a war, and that's all there is to it. At least, that's what they think there is to it, and would never admit to anything else.
*Pining. Angry, "I really hate your guts now but I also want to shag you" pining, or maybe something more low-key. I could see Blackadder realising Darling is pining and ruthlessly using it against him.
*Christmas in the trenches. You could do that first Christmas (the one where Blackadder was clearly off-side) or any other Christmas.
*Time travel, either backwards or forwards. This could be to another series of Blackadder – Blackadder II would be particular fun, seeing as how many people they know also show up there in, hmm, quite different form. Or it could be to any time of your choosing! I'd prefer to cut off going forward to 2015, however.
*Post WWI fic of any flavour. They could have been delighted to think they'd never see each other again but end up working together again, navigating an existing relationship while finding their way back into civilian life, they broke up during the war and end up getting back together after it was over...there's a lot that could be going on. I'd love to read your idea!

Fandom: The Producers (1968)
Pairing: Max Bialystock/Leopold "Leo" Bloom
I'm fond of this movie, even though parts of it haven't aged that well, a lot of it still holds up and it's got some very, very catchy earworms. Everyone remembers Springtime for Hitler (deservedly!) but Prisoners of Love is really catchy too. The relationship between Max and Leo is one of my favourite parts.

At first they're a complete odd couple who don't like/are terrified of each other, but they go from Max making asides to inanimate objects to making them to Leo, pulling him in as his partner in crime and the only two sane men in the cast. By the end they're genuinely fond of each other, with the apology in the theatre for their earlier fighting and Leo's heartfelt speech/attempt to get them off in court. They're also quite touchy-feely, all things considered I'd like more of that odd couple who argue but do have each other's backs and care about each other, even when they're committing fraud.

I'm not super knowledgeable about the theatre industry (particularly musicals) but if you are into that, please use all the details and knowledge you'd like to add. I love that in my fics!

Prompts:
*The original plan was to take the money and run off to Rio, so what if they'd actually been able to do it? Or at least attempted to make it to the airport as soon as the interval happened.
*Any missing scenes, of their developing relationship!
*Prisoners of Love! With Max declaring next time, no author, did he decide to write it himself? Or did Leo did it? Is it embarrassingly autobiographical without realising it? Or is it more of a case of 'I can't talk about these feelings so they're going into our new production'.
*Prisoners of Love successfully makes a transfer to Broadway.
*After getting out of jail, they get back into the theater business. Maybe this time they're trying to do things honestly, but old habits are hard to resist. Or maybe they're sure this time, it'll be an absolute flop.
*Leo declared that 'I want everything I've ever seen in a movie'. What if that wasn't just flashing the cash, but also the more romantic elements of the movies?
*The concierge is my favourite one-scene character, so if she made a cameo somewhere, I would love it.

Fandom: Saturday Night Live
Pairing: Seth Meyers/Stefon
From pitching a weird gay nightmare of a movie with his brother to getting married to and having kids with Seth Meyers, Stefon really has everything. I love how their relationship develops over the sketches, and how Seth, for all his straight man (heh) behaviour, makes sure that Stefon comes back on the show and goes on his weird adventures with him. Also the marriage scene is genuinely really sweet. I'd like fluff, angst, porn, humour and also anything that's as weird as the places Stefon goes.

I'd prefer less jokes about midgets than in the original sketches. I'm fine with casual drug references/use but this is purely to leave the option open to you, do not feel like you have to include any.

Prompts:
*What exactly did they do on their summer vacation together? Was it a beautiful nightmare?
*How did Seth hurt his back, exactly? Was it something really mundane that ends up sounding super suggestive when explained, or actually it was exactly what it sounded like.
*Is Seth's girlfriend a real person, or a convenient excuse? Or perhaps...she's both?
*Seth ditches his girlfriend for Stefon, and has to weather the consequences of making her walk.
*Pining. This is a theme in all my requests but yeah, I love pining, and the two of them trying to figure out their feelings. Particularly if Seth thinks Stefon's flirting with him is just because that's what he does (not entirely wrong, but not entirely right either!).
*Anything at the stage where there might be feelings between them, maybe they've even fucked (or just about to) but it's casual and nothing more than that and they're trying to navigate that.
*Valentine's Day in New York. Maybe an attempt is made for it to be normal, or maybe it's the weirdest night of the year. Or there's a blizzard.
*Weird, awkward sex.
*Stefon channels his feelings into creative pursuits. The sort that leads to an epic club night, influenced by that hot New Hampshire boy vibe, or some weird documentary that'll be considered a masterpiece in 20 years time but for now makes people go 'huh?', or a script spec that leads his brother to drink when he suggests they pitch it.
*Seth also channelling his feelings into his work, and ends up turning it into a short-lived cult classic comedy show, or something else entirely!
*Anything about their post-marriage lives together. Stefon getting used to life in the 'burbs, possibly by setting up his own underground clubs there, when they decided to have kids, even arguments about how to decorate their new home.

Fandom: The Simpsons
Pairing: Carl Carlson/Lenny Leonard
It's supposed to be a gag pairing, and yet ended up with one of the most romantic moments on the show in "Half Decent Proposal". They're always together, they're both obsessed with each other, and it's an unexpected sweet pairing, especially as they're both, well, kind of jerks honestly. Lenny's love for Carl is so pure, so honest, almost childish. Carl is still kind of a jerk but he still shows up in a helicopter to save his life, and loves him too. They have serious old-married couple vibes, especially when they just casually hold hands while looking out at Capital City in a limo.

I'm happy with either their romantic relationship being established or becoming a romantic relationship during the course of the fic. I would really enjoy a funny vibe for them, like the show but with more emotional heart than the later seasons tend to have. Like "Grade School Confidential". If you'd like to do something more serious, I'd also be happy with that! No smut however, it's not what I'm looking for with this request. References to sex are fine, including previous sexual experiences/thoughts etc.

Prompts:
*What exactly happened that magical summer in West Springfield when Lenny carved Carl's face into a mountain.
*What happened after the "Saga of Carl Carlson". While they're still in Iceland, when they return to Springfield, when Lenny won't let go of Carl on the flight back.
*The saline/chocolate swirl soft-serve at the plant. I really want to know how this happened, because the scene makes it sound like Carl built it to make Lenny happy.
*Any sort of follow up to their shippy moments in series would be right up my alley, not just the ones I've mentioned!
*There's only one bed! They end up having to share it. Or there's multiple beds and they have to share for reasons. There's a ghost, or something. The heating's not working. It's not just an excuse!
*A "lost episode" kind of vibe. Something that could be on the show, but has them as the focal couple.
*In Treehouse of Horror XIII, they both get crushed by a helicopter due to Homer's curse. Lenny: "Carl, let me die first. I couldn't bear to watch you die." Carl: "Well, okay, but hurry up." This kind of peril, taken more seriously but with significantly lower stakes and nobody actually dies.
*More normally phrased hurt/comfort than the above too. Perhaps another team building exercise for the plant goes terribly wrong, and they end up fending for themselves in the wilderness. It's dangerous, scary, it leads to a realisation between them.
*Pining, the moment when either of them realised their feelings. Or when they both did.
*What's the most stupid argument they've had, and how did they end up making up? It could be serious, it could be "we got kidnapped by hot anti-nuclear protesters, I got mad when he pointed out they were hot and we argued for the entire kidnapping".
